Aspen Ladd's combat sport journey started at the age of 14. As well as BJJ classes She also took classes in boxing, wrestling, and kickboxing. At age 18 years old, Ladd had her amateur debut at WCFC. Ladd continued to build on her triumph during Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She finished all of her competitors in the initial round. She then went back to WCFC to beat Leslie Rodriguez via unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian as well as Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9. Cynthia was superior to Aspen in the fight, beating her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's record as an amateur was affected. Ladd defeated Roma Pawelek on Tuff n Uff, and increased her amateur record to 8-1. Aspen started her professional career in 2015, signing to Invicta FC for her professional debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her first professional bout. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing the 1st-round TKO. Invicta Fc 16 marked her first fight as a Bantamweight. She beat Amanda Cooper with an armbar in second round. Aspen employed the strong abilities she acquired in wrestling to defeat McGill. She ended the fight with a TKO (3rd round) (elbows, punches). Aspen was then in a fight with Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, at the catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd had missed weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to beat Hoy. Aspen won her fight by KO in the 2nd round. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She dominated Lina and ground-and-pounded her to pick up a second-round TKO victory. Ladd continued to dominate and picked up a more stunning victory in her next match against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd stopped Evinger's fight after the first round. She also received the bonus for performance of night. Her first major fight in the UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both fighters fought a close fight that Ladd beat by a unanimous decision. Both fighters received an award called the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within just 16 seconds, ending her win streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in UFC 7 ESPN 7's 3rd round, was defeated by Randamie. In her recent fight for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 in a rematch fight. The fight ended in an unanimous decision.
